Keller Geoteknikk is back on site and proud contributing to the Lågen Bridge (Lågen bru) project, a key infrastructure development along the new E6 corridor in Norway.

Despite demanding winter conditions, our team continues to demonstrate strong geotechnical expertise, commitment, and close coordination on site. We have successfully completed the installation of 1.9 m diameter piles on the west side of the Gudbrandsdalslågen River – among some of the largest diameter piles executed in Norway - as well as sheet pile boxes on Våløya for the future pile caps. Work is currently ongoing on the steel core piles with diameters of up to 510 mm and to depths of up to 85 meters, forming the foundations for Axes 1 and 5–10, with completion expected in spring 2026.

The 552-meter bridge is founded on piles and constructed using the incremental launching method, reducing environmental impact in the sensitive Lågen delta.

The project is delivered by Implenia Norge, with AF Gruppen as main contractor for Nye Veier AS, and construction works commenced at the end of 2025—we look forward to a continued strong collaboration on this technically challenging and exciting project.
