Bane NOR, responsible for Norway's railway infrastructure, has awarded Keller with a significant contract for ground improvement works in the Sandbukta-Moss-Såstad railway project. Keller Geoteknikk AS has been chosen as the geotechnical contractor for the works in Moss with a value of up to 900 million NOK, including options.

The contract includes all ground improvement activities in the area, involving Dry Deep Soil Mixing (DDSM), Jet Grouting (JG) and an option for a planned retaining wall in Fjordveien.

Keller Geoteknikk has already worked in the area and has a good knowledge of the difficult subsoil conditions. Improving and stabilizing the subsoil, which is mainly composed of sensitive and quick clay, is a great challenge for both design and execution. Keller Geoteknikk's experience in the field has enabled to take the challenge and ensure the highest level of safety during the construction works. Keller will provide a safe base for the future works for Bane NOR.
