Keller has signed a contract with Nye Veier for trial piling for the new Mjøsa bridge. The purpose is to collect more data on the ground conditions in Mjøsa during the summer and autumn of 2023.

The work is part of the planning work for the new E6 Moelv – Roterud. The piles that will be used are appr. 100m long and weigh 100t each. Each pile must be driven 35 to 40 meters into the seabed. A 440t crane with a tower height of approx. 100 meters will be used for this.

In connection with the test piling, a program will be carried out for monitoring noise, various risk factors, external environmental impact and consequences for water quality in Mjøsa.

Preparation for the works and mobilization of equipment will start immediately after the summer holidays.
